Hometown:  I grew up in New London, Wisconsin.

Education:  I attended University of Washington, Seattle and University of Wisconsin, Madison. I obtained degrees in Zoology and Physician Assistant Studies.

Position: I am a physician assistant in orthopedics and have been working at Klasinski Clinic since 1999.

Describe some of your job duties:  At the clinic, I see patients independently or in collaboration with Dr. Riordan, taking histories, performing exams, ordering and reviewing tests, performing procedures, and developing treatment plans with the patients.  I am also involved with the surgeries.  I help patients determine when surgery is necessary, do pre-operative instruction, physicals, and preparation, assist during the surgery, and participate in post-operative care in the hospital, Ambulatory Surgical Center, and clinic.

Favorite thing about working at KC:  I love working with the patients and developing relationships with them over the years.  It is rewarding to help them achieve their goals.  I also enjoy working with our staff.  We have a really great group at Klasinski Clinic and the Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Hobbies:  I enjoy attending my children’s school and sports activities, volunteering in their schools and at church, home decorating, gardening, walking, and spending time with family and friends.

Family:  My husband, Brad, and I have 3 beautiful daughters, Megan, Maddy, and Isabelle.  Brad is a tenured professor of Physics.  We also recently added an adorable teddy bear puppy, Regent, to our household.

If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?:  …Hmm…It may not be a supply item but, I would like to be the thermostat! All my co-workers, friends, and family know that I am always cold.  If I was a thermostat, I could keep myself toasty warm.

Hobbies:  Fishing and being a dad.

Family/Pets:  Wife - Michele, Daughters – Minta and Mia. Golden retriever and yellow lab both are rescued dogs.

Hometown/Where are you from originally:  Born in Memphis, TN, moved around a lot as a child and spent most of my later childhood near Annapolis, MD.

Education:  Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training – Central Michigan University Master’s of Exercise & Movement Science/AT/Sports Psychology – University of Oregon Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies – University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Position:  Physician Assistant.

Describe some of your job duties:  Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients, splinting, assist in surgery, post-operative evaluations.

Favorite thing about working at KC:  There are great people that work at this clinic. Everyone is very helpful and supportive and they work together as a team to provide great medical care.

Hobbies:  Spending time with family and friends, water sports, watching sports-especially football, working out and reading.

Family/Pets:  My awesome family includes my husband, Steve and 2 daughters. We have a black lab named Blackjack and a rabbit.

If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?:  Tape, because it can be used for many different things and is very flexible. I can multi-task well and perform many different tasks or roles as needed. I have also learned over the years to be very flexible in my job and schedule to get things done.

Describe some of your job duties:  Diagnosing and treating patients, assisting in surgery and keeping Dr. Banovetz in line.

Position:  Physician Assistant.

Favorite thing about working at KC:  The family atmosphere.

Hobbies:  Reading, canning, baking, walking my dog, working on puzzles and playing board games with my children.

Family/Pets:  Husband - Ryan, Daughters - Jaedyn and Peyton,  Son - Bronson, Dog - Simba (a yellow lab), Goldfish - Sunrise and Winter.
