In September of 1968, Klasinski Clinic was founded by Dr. C. A. Klasinski in Stevens Point, WI. At the very beginning, the clinic staff was comprised of one physician (Dr. Klasinski), one receptionist and one x-ray technician. Dr. Klasinski’s vision to open a clinic in Stevens Point developed long before the doors opened, although not even he could foresee the future growth of the clinic.
In 1992, Dr. Klasinski was joined in his orthopedic practice by Dr. Matthew Riordan when he also returned to his hometown of Stevens Point. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Klasinski retired in 1993 after a very fulfilling surgical career. The clinic happily welcomed Dr. Thomas Guse into practice in 1996. During the summer of 2008, the clinic doubled the number of physicians when Dr. David Henneghan and Dr. James Banovetz joined the practice.
In June 2006, a new and current Klasinski Medical Complex was built. It contains Klasinski Clinic Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Therapy as well as several other specialty clinics and services. The complex is owned by partners dedicated to independent healthcare for Stevens Point and Plover area residents.
During July of 2014, the Klasinski Clinic began offering Physical Therapy to our patients. Since the beginning, we have connected our patients with the latest technology for the best possible treatments. As of May 2016, our Physical Therapy services became powered by D1.
In the summer of 2016, Klasinski Clinic Orthopedics merged with Orthopedic Associates of Wausau and established Orthopedic Centers of Wisconsin. This allowed our partnership to foster a collaborative team approach and provide the best specialized orthopedic care to all of Central Wisconsin.
The visions and aspirations Dr. Klasinski held so dearly when he founded the clinic continue to remain a strong part of our organization. His desire to provide excellent personalized care to his hometown community continues to carry on in our healthcare providers.
Welcome to the Klasinski Clinic website. We look forward to helping you in any way we can.
