Kris Riggs PT, DPT
Name: Kris Riggs.
Hometown: Stevens Point, WI.
Education: Graduated from SPASH in 2006, Undergraduate degree from UWSP in 2011, Doctor of Physical Therapy from Carroll University in 2014.
Position: Physical Therapist.
Describe some of your job duties: I have a wide variety of job duties. Some call us a physical therapist, others say PT stands for “pain and torture.” What it ultimately comes down to is that I help everyday people have less pain, and help them return to their everyday life. I have a special interest in working with sports medicine, from grade school to college athletes and the weekend warriors that get injured. I treat them all.
Favorite thing about working at KC: The family centered atmosphere.
Hobbies: Hunting, being home with my wife, watching the Packers!
Family/Pets: Wife (Kimara), daughter (Breleigh), dog (Drake), cat (Toothless, from the movie How To Train Your Dragon) and rabbit (Zamba) who is in charge of all of the animals.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: Even though this isn’t an everyday office supply (it should be), I feel that I am like Duct tape. Like physical therapy, everything is better with duct tape. Duct tape can fix all.

Education: Graduated from Ashwaubenon High School 2011, BS in Biology - Carroll University 2015, Doctor of Physical Therapy - Carroll University 2017
Position: Physical Therapist.
Describe some of your job duties: I work with patients to return them to full health prior to their injuries or surgeries. I work with them to return their strength and movement and prevent any further injuries from occurring. I use a variety of techniques and skills to reduce pain, increase range of motion, and challenge patients to increase strength and endurance to return to work, sports, and every day hobbies safely and in a timely manner.
Favorite thing about working at KC: My colleagues. The close family bond that we all share and open communication with one another makes it an enjoyable place to be every day. I feel I can go to anyone with questions when I need some help or advice.
Hobbies: I enjoy working out, football, golfing, outdoor activities and going to sporting events. I like traveling and seeing the world. I have been to Australia and New Zealand and have a long list of the places I want to go next.
Family/Pets: I come from a close family of 5 with an older and younger brother. We are very close and are always laughing when we get together. We often joke we could start our own comedy show. I have a fox red Labrador at home named Blitz. He is very energetic and loves being outside.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be?: I would be a blank sheet of paper because I am always open to learning new information from others and willing to add knowledge to my professional book. My book always has room to expand and I want to continue to learn and improve in my patient care.

Position: Physical Therapist
Describe some of your job duties: Evaluate and treat patients with various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical repairs/replacements, athletic injuries, joint pain, and more. I utilize research and resources to the best of my own knowledge to help patients achieve their goals in enhancing overall quality of life based on their movement abilities. It is my lifelong passion to help patients improve overall function and movement in their lives. I utilize several techniques to help patients improve their function and prevent further injuries, including manual therapy, strengthening, facilitation of proprioception, dynamic balance, mobility, and much more.

My husband is Chad Strehlow, and we just got married July 14! In less than a year, we will be adopting a goldendoodle puppy that we’ll be naming Winslow.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: I would wish to be a stapler. It does a great job at keeping all things organized and put together, which I will admit I am one to color-code my closet. It is my goal to bring people together, create bonds, and facilitate peace among all people.
