Name: Mr. Bones.
Hometown: The graveyard on the outskirts of town.
Education: Majored in Biology and Anatomy at Cartilage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I would have loved to get my Doctorate, but I didn’t have the…guts.
Position: Model, prop, and part-time coat-rack.
Describe some of your job duties: I have a variety of job duties. I greet guests as they enter the clinic, teach patients about joints and the skeletal structure, and help explain procedures to clients by modeling my own bones. Basically, I hang out by Nurse Golla’s desk and help in any way that I can.
Favorite thing about working at KC: I really enjoy working with people. Working at Klasinski Clinic really keeps me on my metatarsals. I also enjoy being a resource for patients and my colleges— No “body” can do what I do for Klasinski Clinic.
Hobbies: I love telling jokes. My coworkers are always telling me how humerus I am!
Family/Pets: I have a French bulldog named Napoleon Bone-apart. We get along well, though he does occasionally attempt to chew on my femur when he gets upset with me.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? I think I would make a good office fan, because I’ve been told the wind blows right through me.
Hometown: Is this a Central WI question where I’m supposed to say my maiden name? Since I don’t have a maiden name I’ll just answer it the typical Midwestern way. I was born in Clinton, IA but moved around a lot while growing up. I graduated high school in Colorado and that’s where my parents still reside so I tend to claim Colorado as home.
Education: Non-traditional education would be my six years in the Marine Corps, I feel I learned more during that time in my life than any other. Traditional education would be an undergrad from the University of Nebraska- Kearney in Business Administration with a minor in Health Sciences and an MBA in Operations Management and Strategic Planning from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Describe some of your job duties: To manage, maintain and implement efficient and effective operations of the clinic. Providing World Class Treatment…Hometown Care is the number one goal of Klasinski Clinic and it’s my job to ensure we are succeeding at that.
Favorite thing about working at KC: I joined the Klasinski team just near the end of 2014 and from the time I stepped in to the office I was treated like family. Then I learned just how much each employee cares for and treats our patients and I knew I would enjoy partnering with each person…and that is my favorite part of working at KC.
Hobbies: Running, Swimming, Reading, Photography, Traveling, Camping, Hunting, Spending time with family, Woodwork…just to name a few.
Family/Pets: I am married to my wonderful wife Erin and we have one son.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: The Suggestion Box: I love to hear what we are doing well and what we can improve upon from both our patients and our employees. The only thing better than hearing their ideas is implementing a process or program that was suggested and that improves patient care or our work environment.

Position: Athletic Trainer.
Describe some of your job duties: Help Dr. Banovetz in caring for his patients, manage care of patients with concussions, provide outreach athletic training medical services to Pacelli High School, assist in the operating room, and collaborate on the clinic’s social media and marketing.
Favorite thing about working at KC: We’re all one big family here in the clinic and we care for our patients just like they are part of our family.
Hobbies: Projects around the house including repurposing old things into new things, crafting, gardening and working out in the yard, spending time with family and friends, exercising, cooking, and reading.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why? Colored paper because it is versatile, in both organization and being creative.
Hometown: Elmhurst, Illinois a suburb just west of Chicago.
Education: I graduated from York Community High School in Elmhurst and went on to get my bachelor’s degree from UW-Stevens Point with a major in Athletic Training and a minor in biology.
Position: Athletic Trainer.
Describe some of your job duties: I dabble in a little bit of everything here at the clinic. I work closely with Dr. Banovetz to provide patient care. I typically go in before him to do an evaluation for the patients and talk to them getting a little extra history. After that I present to Dr. Banovetz and we go in to the patient room together to confirm a diagnosis and discuss treatment plans. After he leaves, I help coordinate care with the patient and answer any other questions the patients may have or explain things in more detail. I assist in the operating room from time to time. I work with a group of my coworkers to coordinate the behind the scenes of the sports physicals we offer in the summer and work on our social medial presence. I give my, usually unsolicited, two cents on marketing as well! I also help provide sports medicine coverage.
Favorite thing about working at KC: My 2 favorite things about work at the clinic are the people that I get to work with day in and day out both the staff and the patients. And the variety of things I get to do, whether it is patient education, social media, evaluating patients, covering a sporting event, or assisting in surgery. Every single day is different and it keeps me on my toes!
Hobbies: I love spending time with my family, singing with my daughters, being outdoors, triathlons, cooking, attempting to update our 100+ year old farm house, working out, gardening, and reading historical markers out loud.
Family/Pets: My husband Noah, Daughters Lily, Faith and Eva and our chickens.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: I would be stress ball because they ease stress, you can throw them at people, they’re a good conversation starter and they come in all different types. I have a pretty sweet collection at my desk!

Position: Certified Professional Coder and Administrative Assistant
Describe some of your job duties: I do a little bit of everything. I take care of human resources, take care of accounts payable, order office products, meet with sales representatives, code office visits, audit the providers’ clinical notes, and take care of compliance related tasks.
Favorite thing about working at KC: I enjoy the variety of tasks I encounter in a day. Every day is different!
Hobbies: I am very active in barrel racing my horses and riding my horses. I also love outdoor activities like fishing and boating.
Pets: I have 8 horses and 2 dogs.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: What the heck kind of questions is this??????!!!! LOL. I guess I would be the plant on my desk ☺ Does that count?

Describe some of your job duties: Being a small clinic, I have a variety of job duties. My main priority is taking care of all the computer systems in the clinic. From the PC’s, servers, network and wireless.
Position: IT Specialist.
Favorite thing about working at KC: The variety I have in my job. I am never doing the same thing over and over. I also really enjoy the people I work with.
Hobbies: Computers, of course, home improvement projects and watching the Packers.
Family/Pets: I have a wife, Karalyn and a daughter Megan who has red curly hair. For a pet, we have a very spoiled Bichon who we call Winnie.

Family: My husband who is an avid hunter and fisherman and two daughters. My oldest daughter is a law student at the University of Iowa. My youngest daughter attends the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Political Science and International Studies.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: A paperclip – I hold things together at home and at work.
Hometown: Rome, NY I grew up on a small Christian campground.
Education: While in high school I received my cosmetology degree and license. After a short time of working in a salon I decided I loved helping people but wanted to do more. I decided to go to Toccoa Falls College in North East, GA where I received my B.S. in Christian Education and a minor in Bible & Theology. After several years working for a non-profit mission organization, I decided I wanted to learn more about healthcare. I received my EMT- Intermediate license through Lanier Technical College. Still EMT- Intermediate wasn’t enough for me, I loved medicine and patient care so continued my education at Mid-State Technical College and studied nursing.
Position: Registered Nurse/Clinical Supervisor.
Describe some of your job duties: I work to assist the administrator in supervising, maintaining, and implementing efficient operations of the clinic. I also schedule surgeries, work on authorizations with insurance companies, room patients, and educate patients about surgeries and diagnoses, and more.
Favorite thing about working at KC: I love the friendly family atmosphere and the emphasis on excellent patient customer service. The providers are all very understanding, caring and pleasant to work with.
Hobbies: Photography, boating, gardening, singing, ballroom dancing and traveling.
Family/Pets: I am married to an amazing man who is so caring and thoughtful and quite the geek, Devon. We have a son who never stops smiling, Connor, and two dogs named Chuck and Henry.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: I would be a staple because it holds things together. I like to think of myself as a staple, someone who holds the team together through any changes or chaos in whatever atmosphere or team I’m involved with.

Education: I went to St. Joseph’s School of Radiography in Marshfield, WI.
Describe some of your job duties: I take x-rays of our patients to help the doctors/PAs determine fractures, help with surgical planning, and help with diagnosing other pathologies. I do miscellaneous other tasks such as import x-rays into our computer system, send images to other facilities, and help with medical records on occasion.
Positon: Radiologic Technologist, RT(R)
Favorite thing about working at KC: My co-workers. Its great having co-workers that are so nice and you can joke around with. It definitely makes the work day more enjoyable.
Hobbies: TRAVELING is my most favorite thing to do!!! I have been to Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Alaska, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Bahamas and hopefully many more places to come in the future. When I’m at home though, I like to ski, knit, play volleyball, plan vacations for myself or other people, and watch movies.
Family/Pets: I am married and have two furry children (a.k.a kitty cats).
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: I guess I’d have to say a binder. I like to be organized at work and a binder keeps everything all in one place, nice and tidy, instead of having stacks of papers sitting around.
Hometown: I grew up in Milladore, a little town west of Stevens Point.
Education: I went to grade school at JF Kennedy in Junction City. I went to junior high at Ben Franklin and senior high at SPASH. I also spent educational time at UW-Stevens Point and UW-Oshkosh. I have always had a desire to work in the medical field.
Position: Appointment Coordinator.
Describe some of your job duties: I welcome patients to the clinic, check them in for appointments, and update personal information. I collect payments and co-pays. Answer patient questions or direct them to the appropriate person for answers. I assist patients by answering phones, taking messages, and scheduling appointments. I utilize the patient portal to update patient information and schedule appointments. I assist medical staff with the upkeep of patient charts by scanning and retrieving faxes. In addition, I do so much more, as a receptionist I really am quite amazing. ☺
Favorite thing about working at KC: The PEOPLE. I love my coworkers and the people who come into the clinic each day. Each day has challenges and joys due to the wonderful people I get to interact with.
Hobbies: I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, biking, singing, attending sporting events, spending time with my friends and family, shopping and movies.
Family/Pets: I am the second of 5 children to Douglas and Elizabeth. I have two brothers (Douglas and James) and two sisters (Mary and Ruth). I have one nephew (Noah). I have 3 cats Amber, Tramp and Verbose. They are rescue kitties full of fun and mischievousness.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: I would be a staple remover. It is a simple item that needs no electricity, it always works. Plus, if you give it some eyes, the staple remover has a cute little face
Hometown: Stevens Point Native. Born in Tacoma, Washington while my dad was stationed there for military service.
Education: 1980 SPASH graduate.
Position: Appointment Scheduler.
Describe some of your job duties: Helping patients schedule appointments. Front desk greeter. Assist with RX requests. Scan and update patient records. Help maintain a good experience for our patients from beginning to end.
Favorite thing about working at KC: Meeting all the patients, working with great co-workers and staff and being the clinic cheerleader for the Green Bay Packer season.
Hobbies: Entertaining and trying new recipes out on friends and family, camping, traveling and fishing.
Family/Pets: Third oldest of four siblings with two older sisters and one younger brother. My longtime other half Dan and our two other family members; rescue cats, Squeak and Ed.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: Super glue. It’s a nice feeling when you stick together with people.

Describe some of your job duties: Schedule Appointments, answer phones, make patients feel comfortable, verify insurance, accept payments, send out new patient paperwork, scan notes into patient charts, sort faxes into patient charts, task messages to staff, plan extra-curricular staff gatherings.

Hobbies: Spending time with family, exercising, gardening, camping & whatever anyone asks me to join.
Family/Pets: I am third of four siblings, married to my husband Shawn, with two sons – Ted & Joe, and two dogs – Buddy & Daisy.

Position: Certified Medical Assistant.
Describe some of your job duties: I take patients to their rooms and obtain their vitals and past medical history for our providers. I remove staples for patients after their surgery. I help schedule follow-up appointments and some procedures and then contact their insurance company to prior authorize them. I help fit patients for braces.
Favorite thing about working at KC: I love working with the staff and patients. I did my clinical rotation here before I was hired and I felt welcomed from the very beginning by both staff and patients. And, I know if I ever have any questions my co-workers are willing to assist or point me in the right direction.
Hobbies: I also love to swim and gardening, even though I don’t have the best green thumb. I also enjoy just having quality family time and spending as much time outdoors as possible when it’s warm enough.
Family/Pets: I’ve been married to my husband; Wesley, since January 2011 and we have two children Kinleigh who is almost 3 and Parker who is a year and a half. Needless to say they keep us very busy. We also have a cat named Cosmo.

Favorite thing about working at KC: Mostly working for all the providers because they make you feel like you are part of a family.

Family/Pets: I am married for 40 years, to my wonderful husband Tom, I have 2 daughters and 2 son-in-laws, 5 grandkids.

Describe some of your job duties: I schedule most of the surgeries for Dr. Riordan & Dr. Guse, as well as schedule MRIs, make follow up appointment and do prior-authorization requests for insurance purposes.

Favorite thing about working at KC: I enjoy the patient contact I have, as well as the providers and coworkers that I work with.

Position: I work at Klasinski Clinic as a Certified Medical Assistant and requisition supplies and braces for the clinic.
Describe some of your job duties: I generally room patients, schedule appointments, surgeries and procedures for Dr. Guse, Dr. Riordan, Tracie Hinaus and Jim Lepak. I call or return calls to patients or patient’s family members, call other clinics to request medical information and pharmacies. I draw blood for lab work. I help with patient education to assist the patient for their procedure and with their healing process. I contact insurance companies to receive pre-authorization for procedures like MRI, CT scans, injections and sometimes surgeries. I order the supplies and braces for the clinic as well.
Favorite thing about working at KC: I have two reasons I enjoy working at Klasinski Clinic. The 1st is the patients. I enjoy listening, joking and talking with the patients. There are a lot of things you can learn from patients in a couple of minutes while rooming them. The 2nd is my co-workers. My co-workers are people that are compassionate about what they do. They understand when you are having a bad day and help out every way they can. They are GREAT team players.
Hobbies: If I’m not in a gym, a pool, football, baseball or softball field watching Ryan or Rachel playing the sports they love to play. I enjoy baking, spending time with my family, going to our cabin, reading, camping, hunting, scrapbooking, sewing or being outdoors.
Family/Pets: My family consists of my husband, Jim, my 2 children, Ryan and Rachel, my stepson, Bob, my daughter-in-law, Katie and 2 grandchildren, Eli and Esme.

Family/Pets: I’m happily married to Jim for close to 40 years. We have two sons and a daughter & five amazing grand-daughters. Currently we just have one goldfish and three grand-dogs.
